Product Description

In 1961, Ansel Adams visted Philmont and the surrounding environs. This trip resulted in one of his most dramatic -- but rarely seen -- photographs, "Thunderstorm Over the Great Plains", which was shot at Philmont and features a billowing thunderhead over the Philmont plains.

In cooperation with the Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trust, the AOL Time Warner Book Group and the Tooth of Time Traders at Philmont, the PSA is proud to annouce that this stunning poster is now available for purchase and makes an excellent gift. Click on the above image to see a larger version of the poster.

Customized text reads "Ansel Adams", "Philmont Scout Ranch - Thunderstorm Over The Great Plains", "Sponsored by the Philmont Staff Association 1973-2003".
