Benefits of membership in the PSA include, but are not limited to, the following:

*HIGH COUNTRY
Publisihed six times per year, HIGH COUNTRY contains timely articles about Philmont and the PSA, updates from Ranch Management as well as news of Northern New Mexico.
*ANNUAL PSA REUNION AND MEETING AT PHILMONT
The Annual PSA Reunion and Meeting is the highlight event of the year. A fun filled weekend, the PSA Reunion is open to all PSA Members and their families. This event has become ever popular in the recent past with ~250 in attendance. As someone stated a few years ago, "You had better be there or the stories that are told will be about YOU!". Be there or be talked about.
*PSA TREK
The PSA Trek, a five day excursion into the backcountry of Philmont, is open to all current PSA members and their immediate families. Trek participants must be at least 14 years of age and meet Philmont's health requirments (including height and weight ratios). Additionally, trek participants must be registered members of the BSA.
*SERVICE PROJECTS TO PHILMONT
Breathe in the clear sage-and ponderosa-perfumed air while working on various cool backcountry maintenance projects. As in 2003, the Service Project in 2004 will most likley center around the recovery of the burn area in the North Country.
*REGIONAL EVENTS
Get together with old and new friends allike at various regional events held throughout the country. Announcements about upcoming regional events will be forthcoming on this forum as well as in HIGH COUNTRY. Interested in organizing a regional event in your area? *RECEIVE THE PSA MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
The PSA Membership Directory, online and updated quarterly, contains all of the current address information for every PSA member.
